Candidate Filing Forms Candidate filing for most offices has concluded. October 9th is the last day for an individual to file a declaration to be a write-in candidate in the General Election. President Partisan presidential candidates were chosen at Party Caucus by the political parties that have ballot status in Idaho. The deadline for independent candidates to file has passed. There will be two independent candidates for President on the General Election ballot.
