Collateral Modification

To file an amendment to modify collateral continue to follow these simple steps.

5)Enter ALL of the collateral description you wish to edit. Ensure that the information entered is correct. Continue by clicking the  Save - Proceed >>  button.

If you "Cut & Paste" a description into the collateral box, please read the help file on Cutting & Pasting Collateral to avoid any potential problems.

6) The Change of Collateral Description screen below contains the authorizing party and the description of collateral to be modified. You may notice that the description was automatically converted to uppercase characters. Please be sure that all information is entered correctly before choosing one of the following options:

• To select a different Authorizing Party click the  Change  button.

• To change any of the collateral information you may do so now by highlighting the information you wish to edit and typing the desired changes. Click the  Save Changes  button.

• To process additional filings click the  << Add Another Filing  button.
  NOTE: The filing party information entered upon initiating the first filing of each session is applied to all filings and will not be requested again during this session.

• To delete this Collateral Modification amendment click the  Delete This Amendment  button.

• Click the  Session Summary >>  button to continue.

7) The Session Summary screen below contains a filing party, type of filing and the session total fee. If you would like to view or modify the information for this filing follow these instructions. 

• To view or edit the filing party click on the Filing Party Details... link.

• To select a different authorization party or to verify or further modify the changes you have made to the collateral description, click the Modify Amendment link.

When you have finished entering and editing the amendment information, it is strongly recommended that you carefully review the contents of each filing for completeness and accuracy. 

Pursuant to IDAPA 34.05.06, Section 4, Item 406, "An error by a filer is the responsibility of such filer." See the section Reviewing Your Session for further instructions.

8) Clicking the  Proceed To Checkout >>   button takes you to the Proceed to Checkout screen. (See sample screen below)
From here you have two options:

• Continue processing your filings by clicking the  Proceed >>  button. This will take you to Access Idaho's Instant Payment Gateway checkout process.
• 
  
  
• Go back to the Session Summary page by clicking the <<Back to Session Summary link.

When you have completed Access Idaho's Instant Payment Gateway process, the screen below will appear indicating that the filing process is complete. 

• To view the filing image click the View Filing Image link.

• To exit UCC Online Filing click the Idaho Secretary of State Home Page link to return to our Home Page. 
• 
  
  
• To start a new session click the Return to UCC Online Filing link.

NOTE: The Filing Image is your receipt. Please DO NOT forget to print a copy of each image for your reference.

Once you have reviewed and printed ALL the filing images, you have completed this Filing Session.
