Order Certificate Online

You can order a certificate of existence online using the Business Entity Search engine. Orders through our online search are paid by credit card or through your account if you have an account with Access Idaho.

$11.50 - Online certificate - The certificate will be generated and displayed in your web browser. You can print the certificate to your printer.

$12.00 - Official certificate - A certificate with an original signature will be prepared by the Secretary of State's office. You can request that the certificate be mailed to you, or that the Secretary of State's office give you a call when the certificate is ready to be picked up.

Instructions:

1. From the online search page (link above), search for <entity> for the entity for which you wish to obtain a certificate.
2. Once you have located the entity in the search results, click on [View Details] (next to the entity name).
3. At the top of the next page that is displayed, click on [Get a certificate of existence for <entity>]. If you don't see this choice, make sure you're not looking at an assumed business name.

We recommend that the fastest way to obtain a certificate of existence is to use our Website as described above.

If you do not wish to use our online service, you can order a certificate by coming to our office in person, telephoning, mailing or faxing a request to our office. Payment can be made in cash (walk-in orders only, please do not send cash through the mail), check/money order or credit card. We are no longer able to invoice for services.
