The legislature of the state of Idaho in 2015 passed Senate Bill 1071, requiring a civics test to graduate from High School.
Here is the complete text of the law.
A pupil may take the civics test, in whole or in part, at any time after enrolling in grade 7 and may repeat the test as often as necessary to pass the test.
The questions on the high school civics test will be taken from the same list of questions used by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) to test applicants for naturalization.
